Reading-counter notice, October 15, 2026. This describes our measurement design, not a claim that every visitor is measured.
To improve our explanations and navigation, our own endpoint receives the public page path, how much of the article has been visible, time when the page is visible and recently active, and whether a reader clicks an internal, recommended, or Telegram link. We also use broad device and entry-source categories and the country code supplied by our hosting provider. We do not send the page's query string, a full referring URL, form values, typed keys, or pointer coordinates.
This counter does not use cookies, local storage, session storage, or a persistent visitor identifier. A random identifier exists only for the current page view so repeat or out-of-order updates do not create extra views. It is not reused to follow a person across pages or devices. Our application does not store IP addresses or user-agent strings in the reading database. The hosting provider necessarily processes network information to deliver and protect the site.
The counter does not run when your browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Adding pm_no_metrics=1 to a page's query string disables this counter for that page load. Unsupported or blocked scripts simply result in missing measurements; they do not prevent access to the content.
Reading records are stored in our Cloudflare account and targeted for deletion after 30 days, with daily scheduled cleanup. Reports are aggregate counts and rates by public page, language, device category, and country. There is no public endpoint for querying these records. Controlled test events are marked separately and excluded from normal reports.
Scrolling is not proof of understanding. Our completion proxy combines high article visibility with active time. An internal link click does not prove that the next page loaded, and a Telegram click does not prove a subscription. We do not claim exact unique people, sessions, or pages per person from this counter.
Cloudflare Web Analytics and security services operate separately from this reading counter; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Existing interface preferences, such as dismissing a banner, are separate from reading measurement. External links to Telegram, Polymarket, or other sites are governed by those services' policies.
