Stock price markets ask whether a share or an index fund — the S&P 500 fund SPY, Meta, Amazon, Palantir and others — will trade at or beyond a set price during a week or a month. Each price level is its own yes/no market: upward levels count the highest price reached, downward levels the lowest.
Together the levels form a ladder, like the crypto “what price will it hit” markets: a level close to today's price is likely to be touched, a distant one is not.
